“Viola da Gamba “Division” model Barak Norman luthier English British, 1651–1724 London.
Six string instrument.
It is a model that I am fond of because it was the first viola that I was advised to build given its characteristics. In fact it is a small and agile model, ideal for approaching the study of the instrument. Small and handy in its case, it is the right instrument for virtuosity and agility.
Despite being small, it has a vibrating string diapason of 69 cm which makes it balanced and ready even in the heaviest strings.”
